Relationship Skills Group - This group will be both supportive and educational, for the purpose of improving interpersonal relationships, improving self-image, and helping people to respond in more positive and realistic ways in relationship situations.

The following topics will be addressed:

• how to deal with real or imagined abandonment
• how to respond in more stable ways to others, i.e., avoiding extremes
• developing a more stable sense of self and establishing a firmer sense of identity
• how to be less impulsive and less self-defeating
• how to be more emotionally "even-keeled", and less "over-reactive"
• how to manage anger more effectively
• how to be less codependent in relationships
• how to communicate more effectively

A closed group of approximately 7-10 individuals is desired. Duration of group to be determined. $50-$59 per session, Linwood: Wed. 6-7pm, Springfield: Mon. 7-8pm [Sign Up]

Anxiety Management Group - This group will focus on helping people to cope better with anxiety. Individuals who have been diagnosed with Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder are all welcome, as are those who are struggling to manage daily anxiety and stress more effectively. The group will be supportive and psycho-educational in nature, and methods of coping with anxiety more effectively will be emphasized. $50-$59 per session, Linwood: Fri. 4:45-5:45pm, Springfield: Sat. 2-3pm [Sign Up]

Infertility Group - This group is intended for individuals who are struggling with infertility and have embarked on the stressful journey to have a child. Those who are involved or planning fertility treatment, or who have already been through the process are invited to join this group. The support that can be provided only by those who are experiencing this uniquely stressful life challenge will hopefully help and reassure those who attend. $50-$59 per session, Definite days and times will be indicated as a function of expressed interest. Topics in Psychology Group - This group is designed for those with an enjoyment and appreciation for all things psychological. Topics will be timely and relevant to the lives and interests of the group members. The group facilitator will prepare and present topics for discussion, including some of the following: diagnostic issues, insurance matters related to mental health treatment, choosing the right person to help, medication pros and cons, latest findings for those with anxiety, depression, etc., and issues related to the therapeutic process and treatment methods. Group participants will be asked to introduce topics of interest and to co-facilitate the group discussion. $50-$59 per session, Definite days and times will be indicated as a function of expressed interest.
